A cold salad with a hot bite. This is what separates hot pepper lovers from the pretenders. This
simple recipe will leave the true pepper lover weak in the knees while looking for something cold
to drink.

Ingredients
8 McBride's Organic Farm Hungarian hot peppers (halved)
4 McBride's Organic Farm tomatoes (diced)
1 McBride's Organic Farm sweet onion (quartered and sliced)
1 McBride's Organic Farm sweet red pepper (halved)


Preparation
Preheat oven to 400C. Wear gloves (I cannot stress the importance of wearing plastic gloves
when preparing this dish). Slice all peppers and bake in oven until they blister and blacken.
Remove peppers from oven and place in paper bag to cool and prepare peppers for peeling).
While waiting for peppers to cool, prepare tomatoes and onions in a bowl. Peel peppers (this is
where we remind you that you should be wearing gloves) and mix in with tomatoes and onions.
Serve with a dark rye bread and cheese. For a hotter salad skip the sweet red pepper.
